Loneliness and Social Isolation Therapy Group

In 2022, 58% of Americans suffered from loneliness. Loneliness impacts people of all ages and genders, and people of all races and ethnicities. If loneliness is affecting your mental health, you are not alone.

·       The Loneliness and Social Isolation Therapy Groups provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to share experiences of loneliness and practice overcoming our fears. Participants will learn how to:

  •       Break the cycle of fear of rejection and subsequent isolation.
  •       Gain a greater understanding of the link between depression and loneliness.
  •       Gain self-confidence in putting into practice more efficient strategies for making friends and        meaningful social connections.

More than one weekly group will be offered. Trellus will host groups for people with Medicaid and who are uninsured/otherwise unable to pay. A group for private insurance/self-pay participants will also be offered.

We will attempt to accommodate as many people as possible based on their scheduling availability, but there may be a waitlist. It is therefore important that you fill in all sections of the form!

Group sign-up questionnaire

Indicate when you are most likely to be able to attend a group. Exact times will be decided later, but this gives us a rough indication of your availability. The more flexible you can be, the more chance we will find you a slot in a group!
